Step 3 - Consultation
If you are deciding or have decided to take the first step to filing bankruptcy, it’s time to meet with attorney Frank Coxwell and/or attorney Rachel Coxwell. With most clients, we have by now spoken over the phone and answered basic questions about bankruptcy and informed you of the documents that you need to get together. If we haven’t, that fine – it’s completely up to you. If you would rather come in and meet personally with us rather than speaking over the phone first, the consultation is free regardless. It’s now time to make an appointment to come in and meet with us and we assure you, it will be well worth the time and effort.
We will go over what bankruptcy will do for you based on your specific situation, review whatever documents you have brought, and discuss all legal options that are on the table that could resolve your specific financial situation.
A private, confidential meeting with an experienced and knowledgeable bankruptcy lawyer is an opportunity to have all your questions answered and to see how your property and debts are affected. It’s a chance to find out what is true and what is false about bankruptcy. Don’t guess, and don’t believe what people tell you on the street. Bankruptcy is one of the most misunderstood set of laws on the books.
The sooner you meet with us, the sooner you will know what plan of action suits you the best.
