This morning (March 14, 2012) I had the pleasure of sitting down with Fox 40 AM co-host Lindsey Slater to discuss the process of foreclosure in Mississippi in order to raise consumer awareness.  Not many people know that Mississippi is a non-judicial state, meaning that the courts do not oversee the foreclosure process.   The mortgage company must run a foreclosure notice for at least 3 weeks in the paper, the sale takes place the 4th week, and you’ve lost the house.  But more importantly, we discussed how people can stop a foreclosure and SAVE their home.
